3000 BGN in cash

Will be awarded through the More-Honors Scholarship 2011 video-clip contest!

 

Dear wacky and talented students,

On behalf of More-Honors Regalia, and More-honors founders, friends, supporters and donors, we would like to announce the THIRD competition for the More-Honors Scholarship.  Donations were received at More-Honors Scholarship fundraiser during Alumni challenge in April 2010, by auctioning off precious More-Honors items and memorabilia.  The More-Honors Scholarship Committee includes founders, donors and friends.
This year the committee will award 3000 BGN in cash to talented individual/s or a team of individuals, who show creativity and values, guarded and nurtured by More-Honors itself.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUBMIT:

A short (up to 3-4 minutes max.) video on ANY topic or issue you consider interesting to the AUBG community or More-Honors.  The issue might be global, local, personal, or communal.  It might be in the format of a news piece, a TV ad, an announcement, a movie trailer, etc.   Keep it short, sharp, and concise!  Audio in English or subtitles please!

Applications that are incomplete or RECEIVED after April 10th 23:59 will not be considered.

Videos will be evaluated by all members of the committee. The criteria include, but are not limited to: Creativity, clear understanding of More-Honors and its values, and originality of ideas! Ideas copied from somewhere else will not have a good chance. Execution is not as valuable as ideas, so DO NOT waste time on useless effects.

WHO CAN APPLY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP, AND HOW:

- Any current AUBG undergraduate student or a TEAM OF UP TO THREE STUDENTS, each with at least 15 earned credits and a minimum of 2.0 Cumulative GPA
- NOT a member of the More-Honors Academy 14

All applications must be submitted through email at the following address: scholarship@more-honors.org and should contain the following info:

• Full names of applicants and AUBG ID numbers
• Email address/es at AUBG and Accumulative GPA as of March 2010
• A link to a video, uploaded on video sharing sites like YouTube, Vimeo or vbox7, adhering to the requirements above

The decision process will have several phases, and the winner/s will be announced and awarded in CASH on April 15th during More Honors Awards 14.

Fund raising for next year’s MH scholarship will start on Saturday, April 16th, during the regular Alumni Challenge!

Important notice: When producing the videos, please refrain from associating yourselves with current Academy members. Videos signed as “The More-Honors Academy” or similar shall be disqualified!
